Halloween Parade Friday, October 31st @ 8:30 am
The Baldwin Annual Halloween Parade will be on the playground beginning at 8:30 a.m. Families please come and join us.
If you are coming to view the parade, please DO NOT enter through the main office. The gate on E. Adams Ave will be open at 8:25 a.m.
Students will be with their classes on the playground. When viewing the parade please stand in the designated areas BEHIND the students. Please be courteous and mindful of the area that will be designated for you to watch the parade. Please do not climb or stand on any school equipment or apparatus to view the parade.
Immediately after the parade, parents will need to exit out the E. Adams gate.
It is important that students adhere to the following requirements:
- Students may wear their costumes throughout the school day. Be mindful of recess, lunch and PE.
- Costumes must adhere to the district dress code policy. They cannot be too tight, short or revealing or violent in nature.
- Costumes may NOT include weapons, replica weapons or toy weapons of any kind.
- Students may NOT wear a face covering to ensure student safety. This includes face paint and masks.
- Students in TK - 8 must be able to change into and out of a costume without assistance from an adult.
- Students must be in appropriate footwear. No slippers, crocs, flips flops or open toed shoes may be worn.
Thank you for ensuring that your child’s costume follows these requirements.
Note: If you would like to donate goodie bags to your child’s class, please consider items such as arts/crafts items or stickers/pencils, etc. Any goodie bags for the class may NOT include food items including candy.
