Halloween Parade

The Baldwin Annual Halloween Parade will be on the playground beginning at 8.30 a.m. Families please come and join us. The SGHS Marching Band will be coming to help us celebrate!

If you are coming to view the parade, please DO NOT enter through the main office.  The gate on E. Adams Ave will be open at 8:30 a.m.

Students will be with their classes on the playground. When viewing the parade please stand in the designated  areas BEHIND the students. Please be courteous and mindful of the area that will be designated for you to watch the parade. Immediately after the parade, parents will need to exit out the E. Adams gate.

It is important that students adhere to the following requirements:

  • Costumes must adhere to the district dress code policy. they cannot be too tight, short or revealing.
  • Masks can only be worn during the parade and must be appropriate in nature. Anything to scary or inappropriate will be confiscated and be kept in the office.
  • Costumes cannot include any weapon (including replicas). They should not have any inappropriate  graphics or messages and should not be bloody or depict violence.
  • Any violations of the requirements will result in the student not being allowed to participate and the student will be asked to change out of their costume. Any fake weapons will be confiscated and must be picked up by a parent before 3:00 p.m. that day.
  • Students must be in uniform after the parade. Students are encouraged to wear their uniform under their costume (if possible) in order to make the changing process easier. Students must also wear closed- toed shoes that are appropriate for play activities.
  • Students must remove any face paint or make up at the end of the parade.

Thank you for ensuring that your child’s costume follows these requirements.

We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, October 30th to share in the Baldwin Family Fun!
